VR cinema room: virtual reality at the Festival dei Popoli. Festival dei Popoli focuses on social documentary cinema. Every year, in Florence, it organizes the most important international documentary film festival in Italy.
VR and its immersive characteristic is the ideal technology to allow the viewer to make the closest thing to a first-hand experience. We set up a room and equipped each user with a headset and a spot, allowing them to rotate 360 ° in space. We synchronized the contents to start simultaneously on all headsets to offer a collective view. If, on the one hand, the viewer experiences a solitary experience with the VR; on the other hand, he shares it with a group.
