We explore the history of cinema through four virtual reality short films inspired by the innovations of the Lumière Brothers and Georges Méliès.

Using immersive technology, we are transported to the atmosphere of an old railway station and witness the arrival of a train, drawing inspiration from the Lumière Brothers’ iconic film.

In “Drive Your Style,” we explore the use of special effects as in Georges Méliès’ “The Vanishing Lady.” In “Drumpossible,” we enter the creative process of drummer Fabio Vitiello and his clones. Finally, “Being Omar Rashid” shows us the clones of Omar populating the space of Gold’s office, paying homage to Spike Jonze’s cult classic.
