Tu-Torial | VR performance - Gold VR

Florence

2019

Tu-torial is an art and technology project conceived by Margherita Landi and Agnese Lanza, dancers, and choreographers.

The project sees different subjects involved in performances guided by the VR headset.

The VR headset becomes the only tool that guides the performer, whether she is a professional dancer or an amateur.

The concept behind Tu-torial is precisely to be able to create a performance without knowing the choreography, only guided by the content used in the VR headset.

Tu-torial is a project divided into 3 research phases, each phase has produced a different output.

Movement and Movies has created an installation where 2 spectators wear VR headsets that generate a playful choreography.

Screen to Body generates a performance that involves the public and brings it on stage through VR technology by exploring the various instruments from the screen to the headset.

The third phase is still in progress.
