Me/Moire

Me/Moire is a project combining contemporary dance and Butoh. The project was started in 2015 by the Japanese choreographer Yumiko Yoshioka, the Italian dancer and director Camilla Giani, and Simona Bucci Company. The central theme is the search for one’s own identity through collective memory as an element of fusion between languages ​​and cultures.

VR allows viewers an immersive and intimate experience. Wearing a headset cuts off the surrounding reality while accessing the collective memories made of moving bodies and spaces to be explored.
